Last Friday we piled the Tactile team into two Lyft vans and headed to Urban Axes . If you're not familiar with Urban Axes, it's an old warehouse in Kensington, Philadelphia transformed into an indoor competitive axe throwing arena. The game involves throwing 1.5 lb. hatchets at wooden targets marked with a bullseye and you score points based on where the axe sticks on the board. Our axe throwing coach was enthusiastic, hilarious, and kept the competition in check. After the round-robin tournament's concluded, the numbers were crunched, and Marc & Alex went into the battle axe championship round. In the end, Marc was the champion only winning by mere centimeters. We had a great time and highly recommend the experience. Enjoy our photos!
