Tactile Wins Education Grants Management Support Services (EDGMSS) BPA for the US Department of Education

Philadelphia, PA – (March 11th, 2021) – The Tactile Group, an award-winning software development agency and education services provider, has been awarded the Education Grants Management Support Services (EDGMSS) Blank Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the U.S. Department of Education (ED). Tactile is now part of a small pool of vendors with access to task orders with a $50M ceiling to provide grant management services as well as maintenance, modernization, and enhancement of ED’s IT applications. This BPA will be utilized by multiple offices within the Department including Institute of Education Sciences (IES); Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA); Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE); Office of Finance and Operations (OFO); Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE); Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS); and Office of Career Technical and Adult Education (OCTAE).

ED’s mission is to promote student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access. To this end, ED awards more than $46 billion in grants annually to states and local educational agencies, institutions of higher education, community-based organizations, and other eligible entities. The scope of work for this BPA is grants management support services within the context of ED’s decentralized organizational structure.
